Where exactly is the hotel located?

How can I get here from Seville Airport (SVQ)?

You can take a taxi (approximate fixed rate of €25-30) or the special airport bus (Line EA), which has a stop on Paseo Colón, very close to the hotel. The bus journey takes about 35-40 minutes.

And from Santa Justa train station?

The fastest way is by taxi (about 10-15 minutes). You can also use public transport; city bus lines C3, C4, or 32 will take you close to the center.

Is the hotel within easy walking distance of the main monuments?

Can you get us tickets for a good flamenco show?

Of course! It's one of our specialties. We collaborate with some of the best and most authentic "tablaos" in the city, both in the center and in the Triana neighborhood. We can advise you and make the reservation for you, so you only have to worry about enjoying the "duende".

We only have one day, what is the best route to see the essentials from the hotel?

Given our privileged location, it's very simple. We recommend a walking route: cross over to Avenida de la Constitución to see the Cathedral and climb the Giralda (10 min). Right next to it, visit the Real Alcázar. Afterwards, get lost in the narrow streets of the Santa Cruz neighborhood. In the afternoon, you can cross our iconic Triana Bridge and finish by watching the sunset over the river from Calle Betis.

And if we have 2 days, what do you recommend we add?

On the second day, you can dedicate the morning to the majestic Plaza de España and the María Luisa Park. In the afternoon, you can visit the avant-garde Metropol Parasol, known as "Las Setas de Sevilla" (The Mushrooms of Seville), to enjoy its views, and end the day exploring the tapas bars in the Alfalfa or El Arenal areas, very close to the hotel.

I've seen huge queues at the Alcázar and the Cathedral, can you help with tickets?

Absolutely. The key is to book in advance. We strongly recommend buying tickets online several days or even weeks in advance. We can guide you through the process or inform you about guided tours that include skip-the-line access. Don't let a queue ruin your visit.

Do you recommend a boat tour on the Guadalquivir River?

Yes, it's a very relaxing and different way to see the city. You can admire the bridges, the Torre del Oro, and the pavilions of the Expo '92 from another perspective. The docks are very close to the hotel, next to the Torre del Oro. We can inform you about schedules and prices.

Are there any "Free Walking Tours" that start nearby?

Yes, several free walking tour companies have their meeting points in central squares like Plaza Nueva, just a 5-minute walk from our door. It's an excellent way to get a first impression of the city.

I don't quite understand how "going for tapas" works. Can you explain?

It's the best part! "Tapear" (going for tapas) is going from bar to bar, having a drink in each (beer, fino sherry, manzanilla...) accompanied by a small portion of food, the "tapa." You don't order everything in one place. The usual way is to stand at the bar and then move on to the next spot. It's a social experience!

What typical Sevillian or Andalusian dish should we not miss?

You can't leave without trying the spinach with chickpeas (espinacas con garbanzos), sirloin in whisky sauce (solomillo al whisky), a good salmorejo (in season), fried fish ("pescaíto" frito), and of course, a good plate of Iberian acorn-fed ham (jamón ibérico de bellota).

Which neighborhood do you recommend for dinner tonight?

You have several excellent options nearby: El Arenal (right in the hotel's area) for classic and bullfighting-themed tapas; the Santa Cruz neighborhood for a more romantic and picturesque atmosphere; or cross the bridge to Triana for a more authentic and popular experience in its many taverns and restaurants.

Where can we have a good breakfast with ham toast outside the hotel?

Although our buffet is magnificent, if one day you feel like the experience of a local bar, in the surroundings of the hotel and in the nearby Mercado de Triana, you will find many cafes that serve the traditional toast with Iberian ham and olive oil.

We are visiting in the middle of summer, what tips do you have for beating the heat?

That's the key question. Stay hydrated constantly. Do as the locals do: visit monuments first thing in the morning, seek shade, and use the central hours of the day (2:00 PM - 6:00 PM) for a leisurely lunch, a rest, or, of course, a dip in our rooftop pool! The evenings are wonderful for a stroll.

What is the best way to get around Seville if we get tired of walking?

Seville is very flat and has an excellent rental service for bicycles and electric scooters, with paths all over the city. For longer distances, taxis are convenient, and the city buses (TUSSAM) are very efficient.

Where is the best place to take a panoramic photo of the city?

You have three fantastic options: climbing the Giralda for a classic view of the center; the viewpoint of Las Setas (Metropol Parasol) for a 360-degree panoramic view; and for an exclusive view with the Giralda in the background, you don't have to go far: our hotel terrace at sunset.

Is it worth taking a day trip to another city? Which one?

Totally. The most comfortable and recommended excursion is to Córdoba. The high-speed train (AVE) gets you there in just 45 minutes, and you can visit its Mosque-Cathedral and Jewish quarter in a day. We can also arrange tours to the White Villages (Pueblos Blancos), Ronda, or Jerez.

Where can we buy authentic Triana ceramics?

To ensure it's authentic, the best thing to do is cross the Triana Bridge and visit the workshops and shops on Calle Alfarería or Calle Antillano Campos. There you will find the artisans at work and can buy unique pieces.

Is the "siesta" a real thing? Do shops close at midday?

It's a custom that is still maintained, especially in traditional commerce and during the hottest months. Large chains and department stores do not close, but small neighborhood shops usually close from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The main monuments usually have continuous opening hours.

Can you recommend a "secret spot" or a charming square that isn't in all the guidebooks?

Of course. We invite you to discover the Plaza de Doña Elvira in the Santa Cruz neighborhood, with its orange trees and fountain; the Patio de Banderas, right at the exit of the Alcázar, for a spectacular photo of the Giralda; or the quiet Callejón del Agua.

Is there a food market nearby worth visiting?

The Mercado de Triana is a must-visit. It's built on the remains of the Castle of San Jorge and, in addition to fresh produce stalls, it has small bars where you can have tapas of the freshest fish and seafood imaginable.

What can you do on the bank of the Guadalquivir River, near the hotel?

The riverbank is perfect for walking, running, or cycling. You can walk to the Torre del Oro, relax in the gardens of Paseo de Colón, or have a drink on the summer terraces (docks) that are set up when the good weather arrives.

Is the water from the fountain in Plaza de la Virgen de los Reyes drinkable?
